They did such a good job with my Aries. He's 9 years old and never been to a groomer before, they were awesome with him and I didn't pick up a traumatized dog. It was a bath and brush with an added deshedding treatment, but when they ran into a couple of mats they didn't add them onto the bill.

This is the third time we have had our dog groomed at Wags and we are so thrilled with the way things have turned out! The first time we had him groomed, we were unhappy with the grooming but that was probably largely due to 1) him being matted and 2) us wanting him clipped too short - we inadvertently and unintentionally setup the groomer for failure. We decided to give them another shot, this time with Becca, and we were thrilled with the result! She has groomed him twice now and he looks fabulous. They are quick and caring and simply a delight to work with. We truly hope we have found a forever-groomer, and shop, at Wags! Our dog is a 70-pound English Golden Doodle, 20 months old, FYI.

We bring our elderly beagle to Wags my Tail pet grooming on a regular basis to provide him the complete spa service. We can not get him to sit still for us to trim his nails and they do a good job washing and making him beautiful. They are familiar with our veterinarian in the same plaza in case there is an emergency so I have peace of mind knowing they are safety conscious and prepared for any situation. They do a good job expressing the anal glands which is why my dog tries to escape once he realizes where we have taken him. He loves the staff but hates the procedure. Again, not something I want to do myself so it is nice to have someone else who is a professional and experienced. They understand and know dogs well, as they are pet owners themselves and have years of experience. The dogs are all treated well and everyone always has a great disposition, which the dogs can sense and that puts my dog at ease. Affordable and easy to make appointments by phone.

The business is practicing good safety measures by not letting people in their shop during these trying times. All transactions and pet hand-offs are done on the sidewalk, and everyone wears a mask. They treat my pet wonderfully. They're friendly, happy to see him, and do a great job. I feel like they treat pets as the owners would. The pricing is really good and they do a fantastic job across the board.

I took my Aussie Trip there for the first time. I have him clipped in the summer because he goes on trail rides with me and overheats with his thick coat. With most groomers he ends up looking pretty chopped up. Jamie did him and he looks perfect! He’s a big fraud and acts terrified when I take him to groomers. Yesterday he did the same thing until Jamie opened the gate to come meet him. He didn’t even wait for her to come out-he immediately went to her without a backwards look at me ? She must put out amazing doggie vibes?

Wags my Tail Pet Grooming is proud to be one of the few family owned and operated dog grooming salons in the Tucson, Marana & Oro Valley areas. We are conveniently located at 2860 W Ina RD #124, Tucson, AZ 85741. The Salon is at the northeast corner of Ina and Shannon in the same parking lot as the Circle K, Discount Tire, and we are next to SGT Pepperoni’s Pizza.
While it is nice to think that providing a dog spa day to our little companions is a luxury, regular dog grooming is a necessity. A well groomed dog not only makes for a better smelling companion, it makes them more comfortable and allows you to spot potential health issues before they become serious.
My dogs hair is shaggy and hard to comb, that’s natural right? Imagine if you will that you have your hair in a ponytail that’s just a bit too tight, now imagine having that same feeling all over your body. Constant pulling and tugging that’s what mats feel like to your dog.
Regular dog grooming provides benefits not only for your dog, but for you. Belle does an awesome job with my dog! The first time I took him to Wags My Tail I had just adopted him and he was covered in matts. Belle was very understanding and provided phone updates regarding my dogs status. He ultimately had to be shaved with a short clip. She is very sweet and thorough and does a great job with my dog every time. Over time, Belle has provided information on how frequent to brush, which brushes work best, and how often he needs to be groomed! Plus, he leaves with a cute bandana after every grooming appointment! Highly recommend wags my tail!
Update: Wags my Tail has a bath club you can enroll your pet into. You can take them as often as you'd like to be bathed, brushed, etc. It's well worth it in between haircuts if your dog's coat is high maintenance!

My dog, "Sugar" the mini Schnauzer, and I were first time clients at Wags my Tail Pet Grooming today. I was able to get Sugar in with Lynn just two days after calling to make her an appointment. We are new to town and will be visiting here for 3 months. Our Goldendoodle is almost 4yrs old and had only seen 1 groomer in Florida his entire life and she's awesome! We went to Colorado and for the 1st time saw a different groomer and she botched him all up! So, needless to say we were concerned about finding some one here for the next 3 months during our stay here in Tucson. I went online and started looking for the best groomers in town. I looked at the number of reviews along with the ratings. In my search I came across Wag my Tail . I called and spoke with Jamie and she took the time to talk with me about their grooming salon. She was pleasant and I had a good feeling about this place. My husband wanted to drive by and check it out. We were greeted by Jamie whom I had spoken with on the phone and again had a pleasant conversation. We were pleasantly surprised that they were able to take him right then for a cut and wash as they just had a cancellation.
They did an awesome job in how we asked for him to be cut and the look that we like our Goldendoodle to have.
We would highly recommend this grooming salon and we loved Jamie. We will definitely be going back for Harley's future visits!! Â Thank you for making our stay to Tucson a comfortable one !!

My dog has allergies and he had bitten most of the fur off of his paws and tail and scratched the fur off one of his ears. I did not think that they could make him look good with most of his fur missing, since one of the big chains "p** s***t ", could not. Well, I am happy to say that they did a fantastic job on my Pichon. He looked absolutely fab! This one is a keeper!
